My Baby Graduates

So, my baby graduated from high school yesterday.  Well, okay - my oldest baby, LOL.  She looked beautiful walking across stage along with the other 400 graduates from her school.  What an incredible day!  My best heartfelt wishes for the class of 2011.  My prayers follow you all.

Wait - wasn't my baby girl just running around in ruffled pjs last week . . . or wait . . . maybe it was last week that she started kindergarten . . .


BUT, she will be graduating in 3 more days.  How is that possible?  Am I really THAT old?

My sympathy to all the parents whose kids are graduating high school this week . . . and my congratulations to all of the  graduates!

Fishing, Anyone?

Okay.  The weather is warm

Easter 2011

Yesterday, we celebrated the most Holy Day of the year  - and recognized the resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Apparently, 11 year old boys have a funny way of celebrating.

Most of you have heard of the new rage - microwaving Peeps.  So, I turn around and notice that my son AND HIS FATHER are standing in the kitchen in front of the microwave, and when I turn to see what they're doing, I find that they are nuking an innocent marshmallow chick. 

Interestingly enough, the little chick does swell to an alarming size before it implodes.
